What this portal does

DutyClaims gives importer teams one workflow from account creation to claim-ready intake.

This portal is for importers filing or monitoring their own duty recovery work. It keeps company setup, intake data, supporting documents, agreement status, and live claims in one place.

Create the company record and preserve any broker invite or referral context attached to the account.
Complete the import profile so DutyClaims knows what products, entries, and protest posture the company needs reviewed.
Upload ACE or CSV entry data, answer document requests, and track agreement, deadlines, and recoveries from the same workspace.
How onboarding works

Importer onboarding is self-serve. DutyClaims moves the account through a fixed sequence before the dashboard opens:

01

Create the account

Set up the login for the person starting the importer workspace.

02

Add company and protest context

Enter the importer entity, contacts, and any existing protest or invite context tied to the account.

03

Build the import profile

Describe products, import patterns, and current workflow details so claim scoping starts with the right facts.

04

Complete eligibility and agreement

Review the workflow cues, sign the participation agreement, then continue into the dashboard for uploads and claim work.

Portal scope and handoff

Portal responsibilities and next steps.

Inside the importer portal, the tools stay focused on importer-owned work: onboarding, entry intake, evidence collection, and claim tracking.

Structured onboarding

Move through company setup, import profile, eligibility review, and agreement signature in a fixed sequence that prevents half-configured workspaces.

Claim-ready intake

Upload ACE exports or CSVs, answer evidence requests, and keep supporting files tied to the same importer record.

Shared status visibility

Give finance, operations, and customs stakeholders one place to see deadlines, agreement state, filed work, and recovery progress.

Role-aware routing

Importer accounts move through onboarding before the dashboard becomes the default workspace.

Clerk handles the session. DutyClaims then checks company, import profile, eligibility, and agreement state to decide whether the account resumes onboarding or opens the importer dashboard.
